Tony began his music career as a guitar player at the age of 7. However once he witnessed the sound of a spinning Leslie coupled to a Hammond organ, he began a lifelong love affair with the Hammond. Though his style has been influenced by many keyboard players, his early influences included such organ greats as Booker T. and Jimmy Smith, to more modern day heroes like Tony Monaco (yes, the other one) and Joey Defrancesco .As a multi- keyboardist, his journey took him to studios and stages from New York to Los Angeles, at which time his focus was on synthesizers and piano. During this time The Reverend toured with Foreigner, Stepenwolf and Quarterfash. You may also know Tony as the the driving force behind Turnstiles The Ultimate Billy Joel Tribute Show.
